We're moving up to Fireland's raiding and we need people to be geared. We will be taking those that are putting effort into getting geared before those that are just showing up for raids. If you want to raid in FL you must be putting effort in outside raiding, this means running troll dungeons and whatever else it takes to get valor. Everybody should be getting close to their weekly valor limits, if you need people to run with ask. At this point people should be wearing iLevel 378 set pieces if they want to raid in FL.

With so many combined raids with Incite, do we want to switch to use a DKP system like they do. That way they could earn DKP and use it on our raids, and vice versa. Miniblaster describes the system in this thread.
Basically it boils down to a priority system. There are tiers for each 50 DKP that you've earned. Person in the highest tier that needs for mainspec gets it. If multiple people are in the same spec that need for main then it goes to roll. If someone wins, they use 80% of their DKP which drops them down. So that others will have a shot at the loot the next drop. What do you think?

Nebulous Rising has allied with a like minded guild, <Incite>. After running together on raids the past couple weeks we've allied our web sites so that they can see our calendar, and we can see theirs. Not sure how it works, but we'll find out. :) A bunch of fun people to adventure with, if you need more for any runs check to see who is on from Incite. Their raid nights are currently Friday and Saturday, while ours are Sunday and Monday, so it's a good fit. They'll look for NR to fill openings if they have them, and we'll do the same.

There has been some confusion on how to apply to NR in the past couple days, so I thought I'd add a post about the process. The application page is found by clicking the Learn More link in the middle of the home page. The Applications link on the home page is for members to see applications, and for applicants to see the status of their application.
The process works like this.
- Applicant clicks the learn more to get to the application page.
- Application clicks the Apply button and answers the 3 questions.
- The application now shows on the applications link.
- Members comment and vote on the applicant.
- Officers make final call and notify the applicant.
Let's get some recruits.

Hello And Welcome To Nebulous Rising
Please understand that while we try to make ourselves clear of our intentions, some times things get over looked. Let us clarify a few things for people who may be looking to become part of our guild or family as we like to call it. Nebulous Rising is a Raid / Casual guild. That simply states that we raid, but are not hard core when raiding. Meaning we do not tell people how to spec or how often they need to raid. If you enjoy progression raiding, we have a core group that does that. We also have a casual group that fills in from time to time when a hole is open for that progression spot. On the lighter side, we have some people that had not been in an instance until they joined Nebulous Rising. We think it is great when someone comes to our guild with an empty cup and willing to learn.For the most part Nebulous Rising is comprised of adults ages 23 to mid 60's. We have some husbands and wives, young students, and children whose parents play in the guild with them. This guild is not about you or I! We are a group of people who want to have fun in the game, without issues of immature guild chat or the need to entertain the members.Nebulous Rising is about being respectful and helping each other, this is the biggest part of our guild. We are looking for people who want to raid and have fun. Not being in a hurry to down the first boss, but knowing we will get there steadily as a team. Mature, understanding , respectful and loyal players who also can handle being put on a wait list if we have too many people on the Raid sign up list, not taking it personally knowing everyone will get equal time in the raids. We want good people who may not want to raid, but want a great group of people to play the game with!
